do you remember when we used to talk on the phone for hours or just kill time by counting stars before we went to sleep?

It was an eventuality I thought would never come
and you were the dream I thought I had awoken from
so let's take take take this ever so slowly sweetheart
and let's do this the right way and maybe it'll last
because I won't lie and pretend I'm not scared,
scared it won't work, but I'm more afraid not to try
because together I think we can achieve anything

wow the last few weeks, this one especially, have been like whoa busy / dramatic. I wouldn't say it has all been bad, because there has been some good, but regardless i am exhausted. i cannot wait for this weekend so that i can just rest (and hopefully no be shanked by vengeful friends of my neighbor)
