on being sick

i'm not sure what it is, but after staying at a hotel i usually get sick. i'm not sure what the deal is, but i felt it coming on saturday morning when i woke up and my throat hurt.

i went to the doctor for it today and got some pills and some cough syrup to take at night so that i can sleep. hopefully i'll be back to 100% by the end of the week.

i think that i'm finally starting to appreciate all that is "the devil and God are raging inside me." It really is an amazing record...

i spent sometime watching "the squid ad the whale," which was directed by noah baumbach. I'm not sure whether i like it or not yet. it was a good movie, but i guess i find it hard to relate to some of the content.
