okay, who didn't tell me

okay, who didn't tell me there was a new boys night out record coming out in july? Also who didn't tell me the new Ozma record comes out in like two weeks?

Man there is a slew of new music coming out this year that will be awesome. (ie straylight run, motion city soundtrack, the starting line, the used) It's always exciting to hear new music from your favorite bands.

What has not been exciting is the saga of my new computer...

As some of you know my old one died, listed below is the timeline of hate regarding my old one and new one.

A Couple of Weeks Ago : the red computer gives up the ghost
Monday April 30th, 2007 (afternoon): I purchased an Athlon 64 X2 4600+ Processor with a motherboard, ram and a
new case.
Monday April 30th, 2007 (evening): I get everything assembled and nothing would work
Tuesday May 1st, 2007 (morning): I attempt to return the motherboard to fry;s. Motherboard works for Fry's tech. tech is unable to troubleshoot further because i am dumb and didn't bring the processor or ram with me.
Tuesday May 1st, 2007 (afternoon): Return to my office and reassemble everything. As if by magic the computer boots. I attempt to format the hd and install windows to no avail
Tuesday May 1st, 2007 (evening): I attempt multiple hard drives, multiple cd drives and muliple xp install disks trying to install xp. nothing works.
Wednesday May 2nd, 2007 (Afternoon): Purchase 300 gig sata hard drive
Wednesday May 2nd, 2007 (Evening): First attempt to install windows fails. Second attempt succeeds. While installing drivers windows crashes. Attempt again with multiple cd drives and muliple xp install disks trying to install xp. nothing works.

So yeh that's where i stand now. There are lot more complicated things going on with windows than i listed, but it would be pointless to list them. I think you get the picture.

So i'm at my wit's end on this one. I'm taking it to austin to night to have a friend of mine look at it.
