It's nice to be home I guess.
I left last thursday around noon for san angelo to surprise leah with an early arrival. we didn't really do a whole lot over the weekend, mostly just hung out and did little things around san angelo. It was def a nice visit and as usually I wasn't ready to leave on monday.
so i ended up leaving at around 5:45am on monday and drove to killeen for my uncle's funeral. it was a pretty sad event, i guess because his death was so unexpected. last week i heard he was in the hospital, but I really thought he'd pull through. it's just weird that he's gone now, after a life time of him always being around. after the funeral there was a lunch at his son's house and on the way there we talked about all the stuff we remembered about him, like how he'd always make fun of us or the way he'd always put his hands on his hips and laugh when he came into our grandma's house and saw us or about how he really was our favorite uncle...
i think i got back to my apartment from killeen at around 3pm-ish, took a nap until about 6pm, then did a little grocery shopping and had dinner with my family at around 7:30pm-ish. after than i tried to watch the hills, but for some reason my tivo failed to record it, so i watched it at 11pm while on the phone with leah.
uh yesterday was kind of a hectic day too. I started working on my work budget for next year and then had to look at the cable modem at my boss' house. it turns out the eth port on it was burned out for some reason, so it had to be replaced. I almost had to go to austin to get a new one, but after a series of phone calls found out that he was the only one who could switch it out.
after work i did some things at the church and worked on a few computers for a couple of hours. then i went to fleming's house to learn some guitar.
after all of that i had dinner at home and spoke to leah on the phone for a couple of hours and then went to bed...
it just seems like something is going on every night of the week now and i'm starting to get tired of it. it's like i'm always so busy that i never have time to catch up and it just really feels like it's killing me. i really hope that the summer is over that things will slow down, but i seriously doubt it...
