you're living to die and i'm dying to live
maybe i missed a step somewhere along the path that has brought me to where i am today. I just don't feel at peace really. a friend suggested it might be cold feet about the marriage, but i know it's not that. marrying her is the one thing i'm certain of... i just feel really tense lately. i feel stressed out and under pressure. i'm reviewing insurance paperwork thinking, no one told me being an adult was going to be this hard. the summers are always hard. the heat gives me headaches. the lack of free time and sleep starts... more...

state of the azn address
wow, I turned twenty five yesterday. Over the past few days I've been reflecting on the things i've during my lifetime and thinking hard about the things that I would like to do in the future. I've pretty much done a little bit of everything. I've worked at a television station, a fast food restaurant, as a web designer, for a construction company, for media relations and publications for swt and for two technical support companies. the dark knight returns
The first movie i remember seeing as a child was tim burton's first batman film. I remember in the first grade coming home to find a black vhs box with only the stylized bat symbol on it and from there on out I was hooked. I read the comics, I saw subsequent movies, I played with the action figure and I even collected the trading cards... ... then i thought i grew up. I saw batman and robin and thought it was horrible. behind every breath hides a word waiting for it's chance to be heard
It's been a long week and I highly doubt that this week is going to be any better. Wes was out of town all of last week , so Leah stayed with Rhonda, then this weekend was disciple now, next Fri/Sat I'm going to be out of town [w/o leah :( ] for Youth Lab at DBU, then Sunday after I get home is the FBC bridal shower and peppered between all of that are various work and social appointments. What can I say? I guess we live life in the fast lane, but as tired and or frustrated as... more...

I said from the start you could take it or leave it, but i prefer that you keep it
It took me this long to fully understand what I am writing and what it actually means... Through out high school and college I wrote about unrequited love and being in college thinking it best to write what you know. To this day I still hold that motto dear, but in my new writing i couple it with a new motto, write what you understand. I've come to the realization that I went through a lot in college and while it was all happening was probably not the best time to try and write about. Don't get me wrong writing... more...
