Stuck

And it just hurts to watch
everyone you ever knew pass you by:
in love, graduating and
moving on with their grandiose lives.
All while I'm stuck on
something that happened so long ago
I just wish I could move on
and do something to make them proud.
For so long I wished I could
forget you face and everything about you
but it all meant so much to
me just to forget that it ever happened.
I just wish it meant more
when you think all of it over at night.
